Skye and Jake went to Glasgow Dogs Trust fun day with Stewart and I in tow. Skye and I took a little walk in the Ochils thinking that we’d maybe head up Ben Cleugh but it had started to rain by the time we reached the summit of Ben Ever. We decided to avoid a drenching and head back down to the car past numerous curious sheep.

We took the dogs a short walk up Dumyat tonight, I imagine this will be Jake’s last ever hill-walks as he is getting increasingly frail.

The weather was looking quite promising for a jaunt up Beinn Each near Strathyre. This was quite a nice “dog-friendly” hill walk with plenty of streams and no sheep that we saw.

Benvane had been annoying me for a few years. I’d attempted it twice had to give up before reaching the summit both times. I took Skye with me and attempted the hill again but this time we made it all the way to the top.

I was doing a little training with Skye last weekend when I placed her into a down stay and walked away to take a photo. When I zoomed in to get a better look at her I realised that I’d left her behind a small hill. The resulting photo looks like there’s a small random dog… Read More »

We went up north for a weekend and decided to take the ferry to Orkney, Jake and Skye had never been on an open-top ferry before but weren’t the least bit bothered.
